Google appears to have exposed details of its Pixel 10 smartphone series nearly a month ahead of its official debut after a hidden promotional banner surfaced inside the Android version of the Google Play Store.
The banner, first identified by Android Authority, carried the headline “Meet the new Pixel 10 Series” and displayed four models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It did not show for the general public and was uncovered through developer tools, matching earlier render leaks and teaser images.
The graphic suggests the Pixel 10 Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold will launch in a shade called Moonstone, while the standard Pixel 10 will ship in bright blue. The familiar horizontal camera bar remains, but spacing changes hint at upgrades to sensors and lenses. The base model may adopt a triple rear camera array for the first time, narrowing the gap with the Pro variants.
According to the leak, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL will run on Google’s Tensor G5 processor. Slated as Google’s first to be built on TSMC’s 3-nanometer fabrication node, the chipset succeeds Samsung-made Tensor G4. Battery capacity is tipped to grow as well, with the Pro XL model expected to carry a 5,200 mAh cell. Screen sizes appear unchanged at 6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.8 inches for the Pro XL, with internal tweaks promised to boost performance.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold may address durability concerns that have plagued earlier foldable devices. Rumors point to enhanced dust protection around the hinge. Display size and fold mechanics have not been detailed.
Google has scheduled a Made by Google event for Aug. 20, where it will officially unveil the Pixel 10 lineup. The banner also teased a limited-time $50 discount valid through Oct. 13, implying that sales could begin soon after the launch.
